The CompanyThe Position:What you will do:
  • Along with the Operations Manager, lead all activities within a large-scale vehicle preservation facility
  • Provide a superior quality service by ensuring quality and efficient work
  • Ensure the schedule of upkeep of new vehicles is on track and addressing any issues that arise
  • Resource management in line with workload and forecasts
  • KPI management for the department
  • Ensure all employees are appropriately skilled, trained, competent and, where required, hold necessary licences
  • High level of communication between all internal customers and stakeholders
  • Carry out Preservation and campaign work if required
  • Problem solving abilities
  • Lead and actively contribute to the Preservation departments ongoing improvements and processes
What you will bring:
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills
  • Experience leading and managing teams
  • A hands-on approach to leadership, with strong problem-solving and organisational skills
  • Sound knowledge of workshop procedures, processes, and efficiencies
  • Strong communications skills – both written and verbal
  • Well developed organisational skills
  • A solid understanding of quality processes and standards
  • A hands-on approach to leadership, with strong problem-solving and organisational skills
  • Show initiative and flexibility in your approach to work
  • Proven skills in multitasking, managing your own time and meeting tight deadlines
  • Prior experience in the auto industry an advantage
  • Mechanical / electrical qualification an advantage
Nice to have:
  • Experience in vehicle accessory fitments
  • Mechanical/electrical aptitude advantageous
  • Current MSIC card
