Job Description:

As an on-site electrician at Major Electrical, you will be responsible for executing electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance at various client locations. You will work closely with our project managers and clients to ensure timely and accurate completion of assignments. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting electrical inspections, troubleshooting, and diagnosing issues.
  • Performing electrical installations, repairs, and upgrades in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
  • Collaborating with project managers and clients to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Providing excellent customer service and addressing client concerns professionally.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • QLD Electrical License
  • QLD Drivers License
  • Standard 11
  • LVR / CPR
  • Coal Board Medical
  • Experience working in a mining or industrial environment essential
  • Valid electrical license/certification.
  • Proven experience as an electrician, preferably in an on-site capacity.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
