DSV Air & Sea is seeking to hire a skilled and passionate Business Development Manager, Projects in Perth.

The Business Development Manager is responsible for new business growth and profitability in accordance with standard DSV principles. The role must manage relationships, business development and contribute to the overall profitability of the Branch.

Your typical day at DSV:

  • Manage and maintain a strong sales pipeline aligned with DSV's business development principles, from lead generation to successful implementation.
  • Identify and pursue short-, mid-, and long-term opportunities, with a focus on EPC/EPCM-led construction projects and clients in the Oil, Gas, Mining, and Renewable Energy sectors.
  • Record and manage all sales activities and opportunities in Dynamics CRM, ensuring accurate reporting and alignment with budget targets.
  • Conduct regular client visits (minimum 6 per week), including new business and high-value prospect meetings, with occasional domestic travel as required.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Customer Service, Pricing, Operations) to deliver tailored solutions and enhance customer experience.
  • Research and engage potential clients using platforms like ICN, Projectory, and LinkedIn, and coordinate service demonstrations to showcase DSV's capabilities.

About you:

  • Experience in project forwarding or international freight forwarding customer acquisition and business development.
  • Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong background in customer acquisition and relationship management.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles and drive business growth.
  • Experience working within a structured sales framework or pipeline process.
