Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Afternoon Fitter, located in Pakenham Upper, VIC. The Afternoon Fitter will be responsible for maintaining and repairing machinery, ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently, and adhering to safety standards. Tasks will include conducting routine inspections, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and performing preventative maintenance.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in mechanical maintenance and repair
  • Experience in troubleshooting and problem-solving mechanical issues
  • Ability to conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance
  • Knowledge of safety standards and compliance
  • Strong attention to detail and good communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Relevant certifications or trade qualification in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Experience in the food manufacturing industry is a plus
