We have opportunities for experienced Maintenance Fitters based at our Pakenham site on day and afternoon shift (non-rotating), to ensure our production and manufacturing processes are safely and effectively maintained to achieve production outcomes. What you offer:

• Experience in installations, repairs and maintenance of industrial manufacturing equipment, preferably primary food processing industry
• Experience in fault finding on hydraulic, pneumatic and complex mechanical systems
• Experience in breakdown as well and preventive maintenance
• Sound interpersonal skills with the ability to develop relationships, communicate and collaborate effectively with key stakeholders
• Strong attention to detail, information processing and problem solving skills required along with the ability to multitask
• Ability to identify and introduce improvements in maintenance practices and plant performance
• Routine maintenance functions for the manufacturing facility
• Machine fault finding to ensure challenging production targets are met and equipment optimization
• Computer literate & ability to navigate your way around our preventative maintenance program, MEX
• Working knowledge of WHS principles
• Production maintenance, fabrication, repair and close out of MEX requests will be a focus of this position.
• Minimum Certificate III in a mechanical trade qualification
• Demonstrated experience in a food or pharma manufacturer preferred
