Labourers / Knife hands / Meat WorkersAbout usTGMC is a long-established, privately-owned meat processing plant located in rural North East Victoria. We are a small dynamic team offering exciting opportunities for a career in the meat industry in one of the most picturesque areas of North East Victoria.The day starts early at 6am and finish's at 2pm leaving the afternoon free to do life, your free to enjoy all public holidays & weekends and you get to spend two weeks of quality time with family & friends over the Christmas / New Year period.All positions come under the meat industry award.Casual - $32 > $42 per hour dependent on experience & qualificationsFull time - $27 > $36 per hour dependent on experience & qualificationsWe pay above the award rates for all positions.Qualifications & ExperiencePrevious experience highly regarded but not necessary.Ability to work in repetitive, fast-paced environment.Tasks & ResponsibilitiesProduction line dutiesBagging, packing and load-out duties.General cleaning dutiesMaintaining high hygienic standardsComplying with OH&S and Company Policies/ProceduresBenefitsFull time hoursNo weekend or public holiday workOvertime availableOn-the-job trainingSafety focused work environmentRural location in Alpine RegionRequirementsHave or willing to get a Q-Fever immunisation (company paid)Willingness to undertake medical examination (company paid)Enthusiasm to perform variety of physical tasks.Readiness to work in a diverse team of people from all cultures.
