The Respiratory Fit Tester is part of the Work Health and Safety team who provide essential health and safety oversight to many industries including but not limited to Healthcare, Construction, Mining, Gas and Oil, Government and Utilities.
The successful candidate will be testing Respiratory masks whilst teaching individuals the correct wear, use and maintenance of their Respiratory Protective Equipment (RPE) for N95/P2, Half Face and Full Face masks.

Job description -
- We have roles available in Melbourne, Perth and Brisbane with travel to and from Customer Sites.
- The role will be split between site location and the FTA offices. Some rural work which may include driving or flying.
- The role will be key in maintaining Calendar and Customer bookings.
- The role will coordinate and conduct Quantitative fit testing including fit checking processes for staff whilst providing education and training in the correct donning and doffing, use, storage and maintenance of RPE.
- Selecting the appropriate Respiratory protection for the customer's specific work environment.
- Daily calibration, maintenance and operation of equipment.
- Daily monitoring and ordering of stock and consumables required.
- Generating simple end of day reports.
- Create and maintain a professional relationship with customers, distributors, manufacturers and industry experts.

We are primarily looking for a full time staff member.
Qualifications -
There is no formal qualification for this role. FTA is looking for candidates that have a high level of customer service, a willingness to learn a trade and share the knowledge to our customers and their employees. Training will be provided to the successful applicant.
Skills and Experience -
- Full unrestricted driver's license and vehicle.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel and Outlook).
- Confident to present to groups either large or small.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
