Trainer / Assessor

We are looking for training superstars to join our expanding Queensland team, who can train in the following vocations:

  • FSK/Foundation Skills

In the following locations:

  • Sunshine Coast
  • Brisbane/Ipswich/Logan/Caboolture
  • Gold Coast
  • Hervey Bay
  • Cairns

YOUR SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Industry Qualification/s at or above level or equivalent Industry experience
  • 5 years min demonstrated Industry work history
  • Demonstrated Industry, VET & Training & Assessment currency
  • TAE 40116 Cert IV Training & Assessment
  • Experience in delivering classroom and workplace-based training (or a desire to do so)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think outside the box
  • Excellent time management, ability to multi-skill and attention to detail
  • Follow policies and procedures to ensure compliance standards
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Competent computer skills (word, power point, excel)

YOUR ROLE

You will be…

  • Delivering and assessing qualifications and units of competency, meeting training standard requirements within aligned training packages
  • Demonstrated student management skills
  • Building and maintaining relationships with Industry
  • Reading and interpreting training packages and validating resources for course delivery
  • Creating session and training plans
  • Supporting students in all modes of training delivery
  • Positively contributing to assessment validation and quality processes
  • Providing a positive learning environment with support and understanding for students
  • Delivery to our students who can be school-based, or workplace-based apprentices.

SPECIFIC PROJECT (Starting soon)

ABHT's Behind the Bar – Certificate III Hospitality/FSK Course

  • We need trainers in the following locations Sunshine Coast, North Brisbane, Ipswich, Logan, Hervey Bay and Cairns
  • 3 to 5 days a week – face to face training 9am to 3pm (plus marking)
  • Training fun, hands-on hospitality skills (Bar & Cocktail skills, coffee, customer service, RSA, RSG, Food Safety)
