As a result of continued growth, our team is seeking an experienced, motivated, and hardworking HR Truck Driver for an immediate start.

The Role:

  • Working up to 10 Hours a Day on Night Shift

  • Load fleet at our major client's distribution warehouse

  • Safely deliver all freight throughout Perth Metropolitan Area

  • Deliveries can range from single cartons drops, to full pallets

  • Deliveries can range from private homes, industrial business, and shopping centres

Pre-Requisites:

  • Previous experience working in a similar role in Transport/Logistics (Essential)

  • Valid HR Synchro/Auto Drivers Licence (Essential)

  • Forklift Licence (Desirable)

  • Current First Aid Certification (Preferred)

  • Ability to pass Pre-Employment Medical including Drug and Alcohol screening

  • Be physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions

  • Knowledge of all traffic laws and relevant legislation

  • Ability to work within the set safe work practices including manual handling for loading and unloading and securing of goods for transit

  • Fatigue Management/Chain of Responsibility Online Training (Desirable)

  • Load Restraint Ticket (Desirable)

  • Previous experience working with Electric Hand Trollies and Scanning Devices (Desirable)

Ideal Candidate:

  • Available to work night shift and occasional country runs

  • Written and verbal communication skills within the logistics operation environment

  • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and adapt to change

  • Experience in providing a high level of service within a set timeframe

  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience in meeting targets and KPI's

  • Have strong OHS awareness & work ethic

  • Have the ability to adapt to an ever-changing work environment safely & efficiently

  • Have excellent attention to detail

  • Have excellent organisation and time management skills
