The Role
The Role Includes
A high-quality IT Service is a must to stay competitive in an increasingly interconnected world. Arsenault´s digital journey continues, to enable us to run business at full speed. To ensure we can deliver this in Asia Pacific, we are now looking for an IT Support Specialist in Blacktown, Australia.
- Provide full onsite/desk side and remote support to end users for all their IT issues, service/change requests Image, deploy, upgrade and refresh PCs and manage IT assets.
- Administrate and solve incidents assigned to the local on-site support.
- Participate in local and global projects.
- Provide hands on support to our specialist team with server, network, telephony infrastructure.
- Advise customers and users on their IT needs and best practices.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with local business and end users.
- Continuous development and improvement of On-Site Support service delivery.
- Continuous focus on customer satisfaction, compliance and standards.
- Work with the Service Desk, Application Managers, IT Managers and other stakeholders using the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) methodology for IT Service Management.
- Team up with your peers at other locations in case of cross functional support is required.
- Procurement of PC and IT hardware
- Liaising with vendors for quotes and placing orders
- Procurement and management of mobile handsets including repairs and services
- Maintain asset registers for all IT assets
- Maintain local SharePoint page for IT Services
- Provide IT inductions for new users on a monthly basis
What We Expect Of You
- Recent degree in IT, or similar.
- Administration experience.
- Knowledge including the use of: Windows 10 Client, Smartphone usage (Android & Apple) for basic end user support, Microsoft Office 2013/2016, Outlook 2013/Office 365, Basic troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication skills, both within the internal team environment and externally.
- To take initiative and ability to work autonomously but as part of a supportive, collaborative team
- Able to work with many tasks simultaneously, analytical, enjoy solving problems in a complex environment.
- Able to communicate with non-technical end-users in a professional way, organized and be able to set priorities.
