The Cloud Engineering - Graduate Opportunity
Working alongside experienced professionals to design, implement, and optimise cloud solutions, gaining hands-on exposure to leading platforms and real-world projects.
You will contribute to cloud migrations and implementation work, assist in troubleshooting technical issues, and learn how to optimise environments for performance, security, and cost efficiency. Collaboration is a key part of the role, giving you the opportunity to work with internal teams, senior engineers, and external vendors to deliver successful project outcomes.
This is a role designed to accelerate your learning, with opportunities to develop both your technical skills and consulting experience. From producing documentation and client handover materials to taking part in knowledge-sharing sessions and continuous improvement initiatives, you'll be building a strong foundation for a successful career in cloud engineering.
Your Journey Starts With
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Basic knowledge of cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, or AWS, with a strong interest in developing hands-on expertise.
- Understanding of hybrid IT environments (cloud + on-premises).
- Foundational knowledge of networking, firewalls, and cloud security best practices.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills with a proactive approach to learning.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and engage with stakeholders.
- Eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment and contribute to project delivery and client outcomes.
- Collaborative mindset with a willingness to share knowledge and support team goals.
- Awareness of infrastructure as code (IaC) concepts and tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or CloudFormation (desirable).
- Familiarity with IT service management principles (e.g., ITIL) and exposure to ticketing systems such as ServiceNow (advantageous)
