All Purpose Pumps is a family owned and operated business since 1989. With a passion for quality pump solutions and systems, we partner with plumbers, builders and consultants across a variety of industries. All Purpose Pumps (APP) has dedicated offices and manufacturing facilities in both Hoppers Crossing and Corio, Victoria.

Summary:

We are seeking multiple qualified and experienced trade persons to join our On Road Service Technician team. These vacancies are permanent, ongoing (full time - 40 hrs week) with RDO and regular overtime.

This position provides vital superior technical support and maintenance services to our clients. As the face-to-face portion of the broader Service team, an average day includes liaising with stakeholders (including APP team members), travelling to sites, conducting hands-on investigation (triage, diagnose and repair). We work across a broad range of pumping systems and in a variety of working environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, service, and repair a wide range of pump systems.
  • Manage all on site installation, repair, maintenance and test tasks.
  • Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions.
  • Collaborate with key contacts including other Technicians, APP team members, clients and suppliers.
  • Maintain accurate records.
  • Willing to travel to different sites - commercial, residential, and industrial sites.

Qualifications/requirements:

  • Technical qualification - plumbing, electrical, auto electrical.
  • 2+ years of post-qualification experience in a similar role.
  • Experience troubleshooting and fault finding (process of elimination).
  • Valid Australian driver's license (current and active).
  • Willing to complete a National Police Check and Working with Children Check.
  • Experience working on fire panels and systems is highly regarded.
