Responsibilities
- Client Assessment: Evaluate clients' physical conditions and discuss their needs to develop tailored treatment plans.
- Massage Techniques: Perform a range of massage therapies, including remedial, sports, relaxation, and specialised techniques like dry needling and cupping.
- Therapeutic Support: Provide treatments aimed at relieving muscle tension, improving circulation, and promoting overall relaxation.
- Rehabilitation Advice: Offer guidance on post-treatment care, stretching exercises, and relaxation techniques to enhance recovery.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest techniques and industry standards to provide the best care possible.
About You
We're looking for candidates who are:
- Qualifications: AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, Diploma, Cert IV
- Registered Professionals: Have current professional association membership, public liability insurance, and professional indemnity insurance.
- Client-Focused: Passionate about health and wellbeing, with a strong commitment to delivering outstanding client care.
- Team Players: Thrive in a collaborative environment and contribute positively to the workplace culture.
- Versatile: Comfortable treating a wide range of clients, including athletes, individuals with chronic pain, and those seeking relaxation therapy.
- Experience: Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred, especially in sports and remedial massage.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
