ABOUT THE ROLE
The People & Culture Manager is responsible for ensuring that Ngala has the workforce capability to achieve its strategic and business goals. Inspiring, nurturing and guiding a high performing team, this role sets the strategic direction and leads the operational delivery of human resources and workforce development. Pivotal to this role is the ability to cultivate a thriving, inclusive and future-focused workforce by embedding systems, policies, processes and practices that support strong governance, innovation and a culture of care. As a senior leader, the People & Culture Manager influences other leaders supporting organisational transformation and ensuring compliance with legislation and regulations while fostering a workplace where people feel valued, supported and empowered to succeed.
The People & Culture Manager oversees a number of areas of responsibility including: Employee Relations, Attraction and Retention including recruitment and on-boarding, P&C compliance, Payroll Services, Learning and Development, Volunteer and Student placement and engagement.

• Industrial Relations and Workforce Compliance
• People Operations and Systems
ABOUT YOU
The successful applicant will:
• Have a tertiary level qualification in Human Resources Management / Industrial Relations and/or relevant discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in the management of an end-to-end service provision of the human resources function within a multidisciplinary organisation.
• Proven capacity to operate both strategically and operationally in the areas of Recruitment, Learning & Development, Remuneration, Employee Relations and contemporary People practices.
• In-depth understanding of Australian employment law, industrial relations WHS and diversity legislation.
• Highly developed interpersonal skills which positively build effective working relationships, drive engagement, motivate staff and influence change.
Role requirements
• Able to work across other Ngala sites as required.
• Possession of a current National Police Certificate (obtained within the last 6 months).
• Possession of current WA driver's licence.
• Possession of current Working with Children check
