Senior Water Resources Engineer

Job Description
- You will work with teams of professional engineers, scientists, technicians and support staff to lead and deliver drainage/hydrology/hydraulic modelling & design and integrated water/stormwater management support on projects whilst ensuring technical excellence.
- As an experienced water resources engineer, you will check and review project outputs.
- You will have the opportunity to lead and support business development activities, including client liaison and proposal preparation.
- Collaborate with a large number of professionals in a range of geographies and build relationships with internal and external clients across multiple sectors, ensuring client service satisfaction.
- Provide direct supervision, leadership and mentoring of junior staff to assist in their professional development.
- Tertiary qualifications in civil or environmental engineering & CPEng (highly regarded)
- Strong client focus, high level of motivation and dedication and the ability work well in a team environment as well as independently
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to quickly build rapport and communicate with various stakeholders
- An appetite for fast-paced project delivery, and the ability to work to deadlines and under pressure
- Ideally, demonstrated experience with water resource modelling and design packages such as TUFLOW, DRAINS, HEC-RAS (1D and 2D), RORB, XPRAFTS, URBS, 12d, MUSIC, GoldSim, IQQM, Source etc.
- Good working knowledge of ARR 2019, TMR Drainage Manual, and QUDM.
