Part-time (30 hours/week - term time only)

Fixed-term (Two Years)

Commencing Term 1, 2026

The Geelong College is seeking an empathetic, proactive, and caring Boarding House Assistant to join our Boarding House team. This role provides pastoral care and supervision for students in Years 7-12, acting as a supportive and approachable "mother" figure during out-of-school hours.

You will contribute to students' general welfare, health, and day-to-day care helping them feel safe, supported, and connected while living away from home.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current First Aid (HLTAID 011), CPR (HLTAID 009)
  • ABSA Duty of Care Certificate Course (College will provide)
  • Completion of the College anaphylaxis qualification
  • Hold a current Working with Children Check (WWCC) (Employee Status), or ability to obtain
  • Completion of the Protecting Children - Mandatory Reporting and other Obligations Module - The Victorian Department of Education and Training (DET)
  • Current Victorian Driver's licence
  • Provide Evidence of Right to Work in Australia
  • Completion of Asthma for Schools Certificate (free course)
