About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Family Lawyer with at least 3 years Post Admission Experience (PAE) to join our growing team in Tweed Heads. This is a fantastic opportunity for a lawyer who is confident managing a diverse caseload, enjoys client contact, and is looking for a long-term career in a supportive Firm.

Key Responsibilities

Family Law:

  • Manage a wide range of family law matters including parenting disputes, property settlements, divorce, and binding financial agreements.
  • Attend and advocate in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia.
  • Draft clear, client-focused legal advice and court documents.
  • Engage in mediation and negotiations on behalf of clients.

Key Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years' post-admission experience in family law.
  • Current NSW Practicing Certificate.
  • Strong advocacy and courtroom experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage competing deadlines and work autonomously.
  • A client-focused, empathetic, and pragmatic approach to legal practice.
  • Strong attention to detail and high standards of professional ethics.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality legal advice and client service.
