We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Retail Pharmacy Assistant to join our team and support daily pharmacy operations.
Job Summary
The Retail Pharmacy Assistant supports pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in ensuring customers receive prompt, accurate, and friendly service. This role involves a combination of customer service, inventory support, and administrative duties in a retail pharmacy setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a courteous, professional manner
- Operate point-of-sale systems and process transactions
- Answer phone calls and handle general inquiries
- Maintain stock levels and ensure proper product rotation on shelves
- Keep pharmacy area clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations
- Maintain patient confidentiality at all times
- Support pharmacy staff with various administrative and operational tasks
Qualifications
- Completion of S2 and S3 Pharmacy Assistant training (mandatory)
- Minimum of 1 year experience working in a pharmacy setting
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Basic math skills and computer literacy
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Professional, detail-oriented, and dependable
