We have an opening for a Pharmacy Assistant: Front Shop and/or Dispensary Technician (4-5 days per week). This position is for a Permanent Part-time or Full-Time commitment.

We're happy to train for the right person. Retail experience is an advantage. Pharmacy experience is preferred.

We're looking for someone who has:

  • A willingness to learn
  • Positive and can-do attitude
  • Customer service and using the tills
  • Enjoy talking to and helping customers
  • Able to work in a small team
  • Confident with technology & a fast learner
  • Reliable and punctual

This position would involve:

  • Serving customers
  • Unpacking orders
  • Point of sale
  • Prescription in-take
  • Dispensing prescriptions

Our opening hours are 8:30am-5:30pm Monday - Friday and Saturdays 8:30 - 12:00pm. Closed public holidays. Hours to be negotiated with the suitable applicant. Hourly rate is commensurate with age and experience. Applicants that can work alternate Saturdays will be considered favourably.

A Certificate III in Community Pharmacy can be offered to those who are looking at a career in the health industry.
