We are currently seeking a Customs Complier / Classifier to join our team in Sydney.

Key responsibilities

  • Preparing entries for Customs & DAFF Clearance
  • Lodgment of documents through COLS
  • Preparation of Customs entries, through Classification, Valuation and Compiling
  • Initiate and action client servicing
  • Attendance to queries or impediments raised by the ABF and/or DAFF
  • Attending to client enquiries relating to tariff classification of goods, rates of duty, tariff concession orders, valuation and origin requirements of the Customs Act
  • Keep up to date with current customs industry changes and trends (Gazettes etc.)
  • Providing an exceptional standard of Customs Service to our customers

Skills and experience

  • Minimum 2 years continuous classifier compiler experience and responsibilities
  • Minimum 2 years working in international logistics in Australia
  • Thorough working knowledge of the Australian Customs Tariff, valuation methodologies, and Incoterms
  • Proficient with using CargoWise One
  • DAFF Accreditation
  • Time management and prioritising skills
  • High level of written communication skills
