Aura Assist is a registered NDIS provider committed to empowering people with disabilities to live with confidence, connection, and independence. We're currently looking for a compassionate, proactive support worker to assist a client in the Campbelltown area.

About the Role:

We're seeking a support worker to assist a client living with mental health challenges who is looking to build confidence, re-engage with the community, and work on daily living goals. The ideal worker will be someone calm, supportive, and proactive — with the emotional intelligence to build trust and help create safe, empowering routines.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide respectful support with personal care and day-to-day routines

  • Support community access (e.g., appointments, shopping, social outings)

  • Use active listening, grounding, and reassurance strategies

  • Promote independence — assist with, not for

  • Encourage confidence, self-worth, and small wins

  • Be someone the client feels safe and heard with

About You:
  • Cert III in Individual Support (Disability) or related field, or ongoing degree in Nursing, Allied Health, or Social Work

  • Previous experience supporting clients with mental health challenges

  • Strong communication and emotional intelligence

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check & Orientation Module

  • Valid First Aid & CPR certifications

  • Fully vaccinated for COVID-19

  • Driver's license (own car preferred)
