We have the opportunity for an Educator who is passionate, inspiring, dedicated and reliable to join our team where you will have the chance to lead our fun and enriching sports program. This program is called SportsIN

This is the perfect opportunity for someone who is a BIG kid at heart. To be successful in this role you will require a LOVE for sport and physical education.

As the SchoolsOUT Sports Coordinator, you will be required to create and deliver a sports program across our Echuca region, bouncing ideas off our program coordinators in other regions. You will be given planning time and support from educators on site to run each session successfully. This role has flexibility if you are studying and will be fully supported by service coordinators and our Area Managers.

Requirements

  • Knowledge and love for all things sport (this can be just from playing a sport yourself).
  • Experience and enjoyment working with children.
  • Have a positive, FUN and energetic attitude.
  • Be working towards or willing to obtain an ACECQA approved qualification including teaching degrees, sports science, youth work, PLUS so much more Head to  OR contact us directly for further information.
  • Dedication to ongoing training and self-improvement.
  • Current First Aid certificate with Anaphylaxis & Asthma training.
  • A WWCC and Police Clearance.
  • 2 Professional References.

Skills and Experience:-

  • The ability to participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of the SchoolsOUT Philosophy whilst adhering to policies and procedures.
  • Experience in the sporting world whether that be a team sport or independent sport practice.
  • Experience and understanding of the ELYF & NQF as well as NQS.
  • Strong work ethic, excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with a team.
  • A strong focus on the delivery of high-quality sports education of school aged children.
  • Fantastic leadership skills and confidence in giving direction to other educators and children.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
