The Role

Perform general labouring duties as directed by your supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Excavator
  • Skid Steer
  • Roller
  • Truck / Water Cart

Skills and Knowledge

Support site operations by:

  • Conducting spotting works and assisting with conduit and pipe installation
  • Performing general housekeeping and support tasks
  • Safely maneuvering plant around live construction environments
  • Performing daily pre-start inspections and basic maintenance on machinery
  • Adhering to environmental and safety regulations, especially in dust control (via water cart)

Qualifications and Experience

  • White Card
  • Minimum 3 years of experience operating civil construction plant and equipment
  • Competence in trenching, backfilling, material handling, compacting, and water cart operations
  • Understanding of safe work procedures, including working around utilities and public areas
  • Ability to read and interpret basic plans, site maps, and SWMS (Safe Work Method Statements)
