Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Southbank, VIC for a Contract Reporting & Analytics Specialist (Power BI/Other Reporting Tools). The Specialist will be responsible for preparing and analyzing contractual agreements, managing and negotiating contracts, generating detailed reports using Power BI, and utilizing other reporting tools to provide actionable insights. Daily tasks also include maintaining excellent communication with various stakeholders to ensure contract compliance and optimize reporting processes.

We are seeking a hands-on 
Reporting & Analytics Specialist
 to join our team on a 
4–6 week contract
. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong 
financial/accounting knowledge
 with experience in 
business intelligence and reporting tools
.

You will play a key role in helping us transition to our new 
Square POS system
, building the reporting structure from the ground up, and creating easy-to-use dashboards and processes that will support better decision-making across the business.

Key Responsbilities

  • Lead the 
    setup and configuration of our new POS system (Square)
    .
  • Design and implement 
    reporting dashboards
     (Power BI or other relevant BI tools).
  • Work with leadership to 
    define key business metrics
     and create reports that track performance across locations.
  • Develop and document 
    reporting processes
     that ensure consistency and reliability in financial and operational reporting.
  • Translate raw data into 
    clear insights for non-technical stakeholders
    .
  • Evaluate and recommend best-fit 
    reporting platforms and tools
     for ongoing use.

Qualifications

  • Strong background in 
    Accounts/Finance
     (comfortable with P&L, sales, and operational reporting).
  • Proficiency in 
    Power BI
     (or similar tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Google Data Studio).
  • Prior experience setting up or working with 
    POS systems
     (Square experience highly regarded).
  • Ability to build 
    clean, automated dashboards and processes
     for multi-site operations.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver outcomes in a 
    short timeframe
    .
