The Opportunity

Reporting to the General Manager, this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and driven automotive professional to join the team at RM Autohaus as an Assistant Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the workshop and ensuring the smooth running of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the General Manager in overseeing workshop operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and resource allocation
  • Supervise and support the team of automotive technicians, ensuring high standards of workmanship and customer service
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff members
  • Liaise with customers, managing expectations and resolving any issues that may arise
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of business strategies and policies
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and safety standards
  • Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of new team members

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the automotive industry, with a strong understanding of workshop operations and management
  • Excellent technical knowledge and hands-on experience in vehicle diagnostics and repair
  • Proven leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with customers and stakeholders
  • A passion for the automotive industry and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement
