Your Role

Responsible for providing a high standard of cleanliness, presentation and hygiene in Staff Accommodation areas in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedure. To provide service in a friendly and enthusiastic manner, meeting productivity standards and resident satisfaction needs.

 Where you'll make an impact
  • Liaise with the Assistant Manager Staff Accommodation or Staff Accommodation Coordinator to prioritise room cleaning
  • Efficiently clean assigned rooms or areas in keeping with departmental standards and Covid safe practices
  • Ensure rooms and inventory are presented to a high standard of cleanliness and in working order for new arrivals in accordance with departmental standards
  • Ensure vehicles, housekeeping equipment, and service areas are stocked, replenished, and clean and tidy at all times including disposing of all rubbish appropriately
  • Secure resident rooms, ensuring all doors are closed when room cleans are complete
  • Advise Assistant Manager Staff Accommodation of any stock shortages, therefore minimising delays in service
  • Report any damage, safety hazards or maintenance requirements to Coordinator or Manager
  • Liaise with the Public Areas team to ensure common areas are kept clean and well maintained
  • Assist the Staff Accommodation Coordinator with weekly Health and Hygiene Inspections, and entry/exit/relocation inspections when required
  • Provide housekeeping duties at the Southern Views Contractor Camp as required
  • Ensure all linen and towelling used for contractors at Southern Views are clean with no stains, rip or tears
  • Perform additional tasks as required under reasonable directive by the Staff Accommodation Manager and Staff Accommodation Coordinator
What we're looking for

You have a positive and helpful attitude. Always well presented, you are physically fit with the ability to carry a 10kg back-mounted vacuum cleaner or heavy laundry/linen bag. You are a team player with high attention to detail.

To be successful, you will need
  • Current Driver's Licence (Essential)
  • Previous cleaning experience (Essential)
