  • Ideal commercial first step for CA-qualified, Big 4-trained accountants on a 417 WHV.

  • Exposure to ASX-listed infrastructure with complex financials and large-scale operations.

  • 3 months contract for an immediately available candidate

TOM People is currently working with a multi-national, large ASX top 70 group to recruit a Management Accountant on a 3-month short term contract to be based either in Sydney, Melbourne or Perth. This large and established group has several offices across Australia with over $15B assets under management.

Role responsibilities:

  • Deliver timely and accurate month-end close support, including journals, accruals, and adjustments across multiple entities.

  • Prepare and reconcile complex balance sheet and profit & loss accounts, ensuring data integrity and compliance.

  • Conduct insightful variance analysis and liaise with key stakeholders to explain movements.

  • Assist in the preparation of year-end deliverables including audit support, workpapers, and financial statements.

  • Drive process improvements and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.

About you:

  • CA-qualified with 3–5 years' experience, ideally trained in a Big 4 audit environment.

  • Confident communicator with strong technical knowledge and attention to detail.

  • Available immediately or at short notice.
