THE ROLE

As Quattro continues to grow, we are seeking a Leading Hand to join our team on a full time contract for sites throughout Western Australia. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and expanding team, offering a pathway to advance your career.

Duties include but not limited to;

  • Installation of underground mechanical infrastructure, pipework, equipment and steelwork.
  • Installation of Paste Reticulation and associated equipment.
  • Operation of underground mobile plant including light vehicles, IT's and flatbed trucks.
  • Paste Wall Construction
  • Read Engineering drawings and plans.
  • Be familiar with JSA's and other Hazard Identification systems and their application in the workplace.
  • Surface management of the underground reticulation system including flushing and remote actuation of paste diverters for dumping
  • Performing all duties with a priority on all aspects of safety.
  • Other duties required by the Site Supervisors.

THE PERSON

  • Experience underground in a similar role or in roles such as Service Crew, Paste Fill Airleg roles would be highly regarded
  • Isuzu Flatbed (or similar) Ticket
  • L-70 and L-120 integrated Tool Carrier
  • Experience using a pneumatic drill is desireable
  • Ability to understand and read Engineering drawing and plans.
  • Current Police Clearance and Manual Driver's License
  • Ability to be in a team whilst maintaining a high standard of work quality and housekeeping
  • Strong work ethic
  • Ability to work in a safe and efficient manner
