About the role

One Pot Catering, a leading catering company in the Hospitality & Tourism industry, is seeking an experienced Chef to join their team in Ramsgate, NSW. As a full-time Chef, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality, delicious meals for a variety of catering events and functions. MUST have valid NSW drivers licence

What you'll be doing

  • Preparing and cooking a range of menu items to the highest standards
  • Ensuring food is presented beautifully and served on time
  • Working closely with the catering team to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Maintaining a super clean, safe and organised kitchen environment
  • Adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Assisting with menu planning and development as required
  • Ordering of all produce for next day orders
  • Some event work as Chef
  • Leading the team we want a born leader who cares about what they are producing
  • Some deliveries to clients as needed

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience as a Chef, must have experience in a catering or events environment
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and presentation
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
  • Passion for using fresh, high-quality ingredients
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Food safety certification and understanding of relevant regulations
  • Born Leader
