About the role

We are currently seeking reliable and compassionate disability support workers to provide full care and assistance to a 51 year old female with a disability, she is ventilated, this care will help her live in her own home.

Duties include but not limited too

  • Ventilation and tracheostomy management
  • Full personal care
  • Medication administration
  • Continence management
  • Assistance with Allied health tasks
  • Manual handling
  • Domestic tasks
  • Documentation and reporting

You will be supported by qualified healthcare professionals and would get the necessary training and skills to do the best job you can.

Shift times daily:

  • Day shifts 7am-4pm and 8am-11am
  • Evening shifts 2pm-10pm
  • Night shifts 9pm-7am (active night)

Requirements:

  • Applicants must have good English speaking skills.
  • Previous care experience
  • Current references
  • Mobile phone
  • Current driver's licence and your own car (mandatory)
  • NDIS workers screening check or willing to obtain (mandatory)
  • First Aid certificate or willing to obtain (mandatory)
  • Paid WWCC (Working with Children's check) or willing to obtain
  • Passionate about caring and committed to client wellbeing
