Cleaning Service Manager

Ventia is hiring a Cleaning Contract Support Lead to join our team and oversee cleaning operations across multiple sites, inclusive of Prisons, across Melbourne's metro and south-western regions.

This is a mobile, hands-on role ideal for someone currently in a low to mid-level management position within the cleaning industry who is ready to step up and grow their career.

Various in the Melbourne Metro Area (Mobile Role – Hybrid Work Available)

Shifts:
Full-Time Hours | Semi-Flexible Schedule inclusive of evening works

Salary:
TFR $85-$90,000 plus Work Vehicle & Fuel Card (for work use)

About The Role
As the Cleaning Contract Support Lead, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operational oversight of cleaning services across multiple facilities, leading a supervision team and their direct reports with a positive, forward thinking, approach.

You will ensure compliance with hygiene standards, manage resources and budgets, and support staff and stakeholder relationships.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Overseeing all operational aspects of the cleaning services contract to meet KPIs and ensure financial viability
• Managing stakeholder relationships and internal communications
• Supporting and leading cleaning teams across multiple sites
• Identifying service gaps and implementing solutions
• Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards
• Supporting training, development, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Contributing to business development and identifying growth opportunities

What You Will Bring
Demonstrated experience in contract management or operational support within cleaning environments

Strong interpersonal and written communication skills

Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities

Experience maintaining cleaning standards and managing client relationships

Valid and full Australian driver's licence

Ability to obtain a clear National Police Check and pass a medical and drug/alcohol test

Preferred, not compulsory, hands-on experience of Biohazard and periodical cleaning procedures.
