This organisation has been established for over 30 years and is expanding due to their success which stems from their focus on employee wellbeing, professional development and team culture. They are seeking Rehabilitation Consultants to join their established Wollongong team.

The successful applicant will enjoy managing their own work schedule and reduced travel with referrals/clients being within a 45-minute radius of their home. Full-time preferred, part-time considered with negotiable starting dates on offer.

What you will be doing:

  • You will enjoy a variety of working environments - external visits, Work From Home and office working
  • Referrals are assigned based on your geographical area with most travel being maximum 35 mins away per appointment
  • Caseload of around 25 clients per consultant
  • You will be working with a variety of clients, performing 1:1 services, managing treatment plans and supporting clients in their return to work goals
  • Worksite assessments, pre-employment medicals, ADL and ergonomic assessments (training provided where required)
  • Providing evidence-based assessment and therapy to clients with physical and psychological conditions
  • Liaising with external stakeholders
  • Completing reports and updating progress notes

How you will be supported:

Each consultant is assigned a supervisor and together you create a personalised professional and career growth plan. With your supervisor, you have dedicated time for mentoring (weekly or fortnightly depending on experience). In addition to this, the company runs Professional Development courses throughout the year.

What you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology or Physiotherapy
  • Full AHPRA registration or ESSA
  • Unrestricted Australian Working Rights
  • No previous Rehab Consultancy experience required
