This Australian mining services company is looking to secure a motivated and personable lawyer to join their in-house legal team.

You will be working closely with a collaborative and down-to-earth team of lawyers. This team encourages progression and career development as you become a trusted adviser to the business.

This major Australian brand provides services and support across the mining and construction industries. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts, equipment & personnel hire, services & supply, and JV agreements.
  • Providing advice on a wide range of issues including employment, general commercial law and dispute resolution and litigation on occasion.
  • Ensuring compliance and providing advice on legislative and regulatory requirements.

This role will suit lawyers with 4-10 years' PAE, ideally with strong commercial and contract experience or lawyers with a construction, corporate or a litigation (with exposure to front-end matters) background who are working with top/mid-tier firms, or within leading boutique firms.

This legal team has a great culture and they work collaboratively together. The varied workload will give you the opportunity to continuously develop your skillset and commercial acumen.
