We're proud of our reputation as a welcoming, community-minded club – and now we're looking for a motivated Assistant Greenkeeper (2IC) to help us take our course presentation to the next level.

About the Role
As the Assistant Greenkeeper, you'll support the Course Manager in all aspects of turf and grounds management. You'll take pride in ensuring the course is presented to the highest standards for members, guests, and competitions – and when needed, you'll confidently step up to lead the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor the groundstaff, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
- Assist with daily course setup – mowing, aerifying, topdressing, cup placement, and marking.
- Monitor turf health, pest/disease issues, and apply turf care strategies.
- Oversee irrigation operations, troubleshooting, and equipment maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records of works, chemical use, and irrigation schedules.
- Act as Course Manager when required, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
What We're Looking For
- Qualified: Certificate III or Diploma in Sports Turf Management.
- Leader: Strong supervisory skills and a team-first mindset.
- Communicator: Able to give clear instructions and liaise with management and members.
- Hands-on: Practical turf knowledge and mechanical awareness.
- Reliable & Adaptable: Willing to work early mornings, some weekends, and adjust to seasonal conditions.
