Our Client is looking for an experienced IT Solution Designer to lead the design and implementation of an automated change management solution built on ServiceNow DevOps Change Velocity and Azure DevOps.

About the Role:

In this role, you will design and deliver an automated ITIL Normal change process that integrates ServiceNow workflows with Azure DevOps pipelines. You'll work closely with ITSM, DevOps and delivery teams to define risk-based approvals, automated scheduling, deployment triggers and outcome tracking.

You'll also play a key role in updating supporting policies, procedures and technical documentation, as well as advocating for automation in change-averse environments.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Designing and implementing workflows, integrations and business logic in ServiceNow
  • Integrating ServiceNow DevOps Change Velocity with Azure DevOps pipelines
  • Defining risk-based approval logic, automated scheduling and deployment triggers
  • Ensuring deployment outcomes (success/failure/review) are accurately captured in ServiceNow
  • Customising Azure DevOps Test Plans to support risk-based decision logic
  • Contributing to policy and procedure updates for the automated change process
  • Working with technical and business stakeholders to drive automation adoption
  • Producing clear documentation, including solution intent, workflows and risk considerations

What We're Looking For

  • Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow, ideally DevOps Change Velocity
  • Practical understanding of ITIL Change Management and automation opportunities
  • Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines and test plan customisation
  • Proven ability to design scalable, sustainable end-to-end solutions
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to influence in complex or change-resistant environments
  • Strong documentation and design skills (workflows, business logic, risks)
