As a Community Care Worker with us, you'll be part of a caring and dedicated team that priorities the well-being of Seniors in our community. Your role will involve providing essential support and companionship to seniors, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life.

We are currently seeking a casual Aged Care Community Care Worker with availability to work Monday - Friday.

The Role:

This role involves visiting clients in their own homes in Bomaderry, Nowra and surrounding areas. Services may include:

  • Personal care such as assisting with showering, other personal support and providing medication assistance
  • Shopping, meal preparation and housekeeping
  • Respite and social support, share common interests and provide companionship
  • Support individuals to access appointments and activities in their community

You will be:

  • Reliable and trustworthy
  • An effective communicator
  • Compassionate with a positive attitude
  • Eager to learn and willing to embark on further training and development offered
  • Enjoy providing a quality service with a focus on attention to details
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Previous caregiving experience

Applicants must hold (or obtain through recruitment process):

  • Australian Federal Police clearance (no disclosable outcomes)
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Certificate III Individual Support Ageing, Disability or Home and Community Care (or equivalent qualification)
  • Assist with Clients Medication certification or willingness to attain
  • Drivers Licence, with safe driving record
  • Copy of uncertified driving record
  • Current car registration & insurance
  • Working with Children Check Clearance
  • COVID19 vaccination (primary dose)

Hours and Shifts Available:

BCR Communities is a family friendly and flexible employer with a wide variety of shifts available. Preferably you will be available over 5 days, Monday to Friday.
