In This Role, You Will
  • Be the technical bridge between customers and engineering, translating challenges into actionable solutions.
  • Support product innovation, working with Digital R&D to advance next-gen Digital Products and reverse engineering initiatives.
  • Ensure safety and compliance, aligning designs with legal requirements and "Safety in Design" principles.
  • Validate digital products, conducting trials and performance evaluations in close collaboration with the sales team.
  • Deliver insights, investigating market trends, customer pain points, and technical growth opportunities.
Key Technical Criteria
  • Strong technical acumen, Mechanical/Electrical trade qualifications
  • Customer-first approach, ensuring technical support and solutions align with market needs
  • Collaboration mindset, working closely with the Engineering Team Lead and Product Manager to bring innovations to life
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to review and refine product designs for optimal performance
  • Attention to detail, ensuring high-quality execution of engineering activities, from validation to product documentation
Qualifications

Qualifications in Mechatronics or Electrical engineering will be considered, but not mandatory; candidates who demonstrate relevant experience and a formal trade qualification are also welcome. Mining Experience (Excavators & Trucks) – Essential. Hands-on experience working with excavators and haul trucks in a mining environment is a must. This role is based in Brisbane or Newcastle.
