About the Role - As a Trade Desk Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for our customers assisting with orders, offering product advice, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. You'll work closely with our sales and warehouse teams, gaining hands-on knowledge of the building supplies industry while developing skills that can lead to further career opportunities within our business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve customers at the trade counter with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Provide product knowledge and recommendations to assist customer purchases.
  • Process orders and handle payments accurately.
  • Liaise with warehouse staff to ensure timely and correct dispatch of goods.
  • Maintain a clean and well-presented trade counter area.
  • Assist in stock management, including inventory checks.

About You

  • Positive, reliable, and eager to learn.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Interest in building products or construction (experience a plus, but not essential).
  • Ability to work in a team and handle a busy environment.
  • Basic computer skills for order processing.
