What's involved?

We are seeking for a proactive and dedicated HSE Officer to join our group Safety and Environment team. This role plays a vital role in fostering a safe, compliant, and environmentally responsible workplace across our Broadwater site. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing, promoting and monitoring and supporting HSE activities to assist with both operational and statutory requirements.

The main duties:

  • Maintain compliance with Work Health and Safety (WHS) legislation and industry standards
  • Coordinate and deliver effective injury management and return to work program
  • Investigate safety and environmental incidents and recommend corrective actions
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits
  • Actively contribute to the Site Management Team, supporting continuous improvement and safety leadership

We are looking for:

  • Cert IV or Diploma in Work Health and Safety (or equivalent)
  • Rehabilitation Coordinator Certification, First Aid Certification, Auditing qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of WHS regulations in Australia
  • Well-developed written, communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to make sound decisions based on a mixture of analysis, experience and judgement
  • Strong commitment to safety and hold a positive attitude
  • Good mentoring / training skills to embed safe workplace culture
  • Experience in manufacturing, construction, or industrial sectors preferred
