St Rita's College is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Arts Teacher Aide to join our dynamic Arts Faculty.

Working across Visual Arts, Drama, Music, Media, Film, TV & New Media, this position provides essential classroom, technical, and administrative support to teachers and students. The successful applicant will be instrumental in preparing materials, operating specialised equipment, maintaining safe and creative learning environments, and supporting exhibitions and performances that celebrate student achievement.

Commencing 19 January 2026, this position works Monday - Friday from 7:30am - 3:30pm during the school term.

Key duties and responsibilities include:

  • Assist teachers and students with the preparation and delivery of practical learning activities.
  • Operate and maintain specialist Arts equipment and resources.
  • Support Work Health and Safety practices, including risk assessments and material handling.
  • Manage and organise department resources and communal storage spaces.
  • Provide administrative and financial assistance, including ordering, budgeting, and record keeping.
  • Assist with Arts Week, exhibitions, and other College events that showcase student creativity.

You will bring:

  • Experience or knowledge in art, design, or a related creative field.
  • Understanding of safe work practices and WHS principles in an Arts environment.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach.
