Job Summary
Bechtel is now accepting applications undergraduates in the field of IS&T to join our Summer Intern Program located at our Brisbane office. Bechtel's internship program was created to cultivate real-life industry interest based on hands-on experience. Many new university graduate hires began their careers at Bechtel as a student intern.

During this time, you'll see first-hand how our business works and take on tasks related directly to the construction of the project and internal initiatives, all which will give you valuable industry experience – all while having a real impact on our organization. Interns work in our multidisciplinary teams, under a dedicated supervisor who will be responsible for providing you with a full and busy workload, whilst also ensuring we provide you with the best experience possible during your time with us.

Our internships run as a 12-week program over the university summer holidays commencing on 24November 2025.

Education And Experience Requirements

• Applicants must be in their second or third year of their degree at an accredited university in one of the fields listed above, and,
• Be an Australian citizen or have the right to permanently work and remain in Australia without sponsorship, and,
• Be able to pass any pre-employment requirements such as a drug screen and background check.
