Senior Tax Analyst

About the role:
An opportunity has become available for a Tax Analyst or Senior Tax Analyst to join a leading professional services firm.
In this role, you will play a key part in helping employers meet their Australian employment tax and entitlement obligations, including Superannuation Guarantee (SG), Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT), Pay-As-You-Go Withholding (PAYG W), Payroll Tax (PRT), Workers Compensation, and broader wage compliance matters.
We place a strong emphasis on integrating tax technology with tax technical expertise, and you will be supported in developing skills to:
- Develop analytical models
- Design bespoke technology offerings for clients
Specific responsibilities may include:
- Employer superannuation obligations, SGC compliance reviews, and preparation of submissions to the ATO
- Assisting clients with broader wage compliance matters
- State payroll tax investigations and monthly reporting
- Pay-As-You-Go Withholding obligations
- Advising on Australian tax obligations for employers establishing operations in Australia
- Review and preparation of FBT returns
- Drafting FBT advice for clients
About you:
- You have a minimum of 3 years experience in a professional services or similar environment and are passionate about developing innovative, technology-driven solutions for clients.
- You are collaborative, detail-oriented, and demonstrate integrity in your work.
- Data visualisation, cleaning, and manipulation skills would be advantageous (though not essential).
