We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Technical Officer - E&I to join us in our Operations & Maintenance team in Wilton, NSW on a full time permanent basis.
Reporting to the Team Leader Asset Operations, you will play a key role in maintaining and repairing electrical and instrumentation systems. This includes ensuring the safety and reliability of these systems, diagnosing and resolving technical issues, and complying with industry regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair electrical and instrumentation systems to ensure safety and reliability.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to these systems.
- Comply with industry regulations and standards to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to improve the performance of electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Provide technical support and training to other staff as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends to advise on potential improvements.
Your background
- Strong technical skills with a good understanding of electrical and instrumentation systems and infrastructure.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical staff.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and standards related to electrical and instrumentation systems.

The Operations & Maintenance team exist to safely operate APA Power, Transmission, Midstream and Network assets in an efficient and cost-effective manner to enable APA to achieve its business strategy and goals, extract maximum value from its assets, and deliver value for its customers.
