Production and Operations Officer

Council is seeking to appoint a permanent full time Production and Operations Officer to contribute to Council's success.

  • Located at the Gladstone Entertainment and Convention Centre

About the Role

The purpose of this position is to execute ongoing and project-related maintenance of the Arts & Entertainment assets, including the GECC and any other external buildings and assets it is responsible for. This position supports the production and operations team to deliver high-quality events across the GECC and the A&E's external events calendar.

You will bring:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a relevant trade or similar role.
  • LF Forklift Truck High Risk Work Licence and previous operating experience.
  • Working safely at heights certification or ability to attain on appointment.
  • Elevated Work Platform and rescue training competency or ability to attain on appointment.
  • Test and Tag certification or ability to attain on appointment.
  • Must be eligible and willing to obtain on appointment, a positive notice Working with Children Blue Card.
  • Current accredited First Aid and CPR or ability to attain on appointment.
  • Experience and competency operating under a current Medium Rigid (MR) licence.
