Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.

Position Profile:
Aboriginal Mental Health Worker works as a member of the multidisciplinary regional mental health team and enhance the accessibility of mental health services to Aboriginal children, young people, families, and communities. The occupant of this position will be expected to comply with and demonstrate a positive commitment to the WACHS values and the highest achievement in demonstrating positive commitment to Equal Employment Opportunity, Occupational Safety & Health, Public Sector Standards, Code of Conduct, Code of Ethics, Quality Improvement, Performance Management, Customer Focus, Disability Services Act and Confidentiality throughout the course of their duties.
