About the Role
As we continue to grow, TigerVac SA is seeking a skilled Utility Service Locator to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our Operations team, Hydro Excavation Operators, and site representatives across various projects in Adelaide. Primary responsibilities include locating underground services, performing utility surveys, conducting drainage investigations, and mapping assets. We are looking for a self-motivated and reliable individual with the ability to work autonomously and deliver outcomes that meet client standards and timelines.

Key Responsibilities
In this dynamic and fast-paced role, your duties will include:

• Analysing and interpreting Dial Before You Dig plans to perform asset investigations.
• Carrying out utility surveys safely, efficiently, and with a high level of professionalism.
• Correctly operating Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) Electromagnetic Service Locator to determine the location, depth, and orientation of underground assets.
• Verifying all project deliverables thoroughly before client submission.
• Upholding the highest standards of professionalism, skill, and quality in all tasks.
• Providing training and mentorship to new Locator staff when necessary.

About You
To succeed in this role, you will need:

• A certified Utility Locating qualification/accreditation.
• A valid C-class driver's license (essential).
• A White Card (essential).
• The ability to read and interpret Dial Before You Dig plans.
• At least two (2) years of experience as an underground service locator.
• Experience identifying various utilities/services.
• Physical capability to access pits, potholing, and undertake other physical tasks.
