The Opportunity

- ensure safe work practices are consistently upheld and continuously improved
- oversee the installation, relining and repair of refractory equipment such as ladles, vessels and blast furnace troughs
- manage job planning, resource allocation and shift coordination to meet operational priorities

- build constructive relationships with stakeholders and contractors to deliver best outcomes
- drive a strong, cohesive and respectful team culture in line with BlueScope's values
About You

- proven leadership experience in a trade, maintenance or manufacturing environment
- a commitment to safety and the ability to embed a strong safety culture in your team
- strong communication and relationship-building skills
- the ability to plan, prioritise and manage resources effectively
- a proactive, collaborative mindset with a focus on team development and performance
Technical experience in refractory installation or bricklaying (Certificate III in Bricklaying or similar trade qualification) would be beneficial but is not required.
