The Role

As a key member of the VAMOS team, you'll perform coaching shifts inside our custom-designed training environment, helping every athlete feel seen, supported, and confident. You'll deliver high-quality assessments, prescribe (and continuously adapt) training programmes, and deliver in session coaching while helping to create a welcoming and motivating training atmosphere.

We are specifically recruiting for a part-time Coach to join the team to work 8 to 10 hours per week, split across two regular 4 or 5 hour shifts every week. One of the shifts is 8am to 12pm every Saturday morning and the other shift can either be 5am-9am or 4pm-8pm on a specific midweek day (Mon - Thurs) chosen by the successful applicant.

You'll Be:

  • Passionate about helping others become stronger for life.
  • Kind, optimistic, energetic, and values-driven.
  • Experienced in delivering strength training coaching.
  • Have a minimum of 1-2 years of strength training coaching experience.
  • Cert IV in Fitness minimum qualification.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver coaching excellence – Conduct athlete assessments and consultations, prescribe and continuously adapt personalised strength training programs, and provide expert in-person coaching to guide athletes through their workouts.

Training environment concierge – Foster a welcoming and motivating atmosphere aligned with VAMOS brand values and ensure a smooth and efficient customer experience in relation to training cube booking and attendance.

Facility operations – Perform opening and closing duties, ensure safety and cleanliness align with VAMOS brand standards, and act as designated first aider when on duty.

First aid certification must be obtained within 3 months of commencement.

Athlete support – Use our digital coaching platforms and CRM tools to support athletes between sessions, enhancing accountability and consistency.

Australian work rights are required for this position.
