It is the foundation of The Memorial Experience.Summary:Coordinates the admissions, health care services, day to day needs and discharge of international patients from various regions of the world, as well as for patients of special interest to Memorial Healthcare System.Responsibilities:Confirms that patient's financial responsibilities and required documentation is processed in conformance with the departments standard operating procedures including collection and verification of insurance information.Responsible for navigating patients through the program and providing individualized services based on patient's needs.Attends events and community functions locally and internationally as requested to promote visibility of the program.Maintains database for tracking global patients and provides monthly reports to Director for review.Competencies:ACCOUNTABILITY, CUSTOMER SERVICE, INSURANCE VERIFICATION, MANAGING WORKLOADS, ORGANIZATION SKILLS, RESPONDING TO CHANGE, STANDARDS OF BEHAVIOREducation and Certification Requirements:High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)Additional Job Information:Complexity of Work: Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
