The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled 1st Class Machinist to join our friendly team. In this full time role, you will utilise you expertise in CNC Machining.

Experience operating Mazak Machines is preferable but we are open to providing training for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and program CNC machines
• 6 Mazak CNC turning machines ranging up to 5 axis & 1 vertical Mazak milling machine, to produce parts to precise specifications
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints and work orders to determine the appropriate machining processes
• Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality and productivity

What We're Looking For

• Experience as a CNC Machinist/Programmer or trades person willing to learn CNC machining
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Proficient in the use of precision measuring tools and quality control techniques
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
